Luxury Living Chicago Realty announced it has begun leasing at Riverview Terrace, a 46-unit building located at 2609 West Belmont Avenue in Chicago. This brand new luxury rental property sits on the North Branch of the Chicago River between the Chicago neighborhoods of Avondale and Roscoe Village.

The building was originally developed as condominiums in 2007. With the downturn of the sales market, the project was vacant until a team of investors purchased the property in Spring 2014. With some enhancements, the investors have converted the property to multifamily housing and the units are ready for immediate occupancy.
“Because the units were originally intended as condos, the finishes are very high quality,” said Aaron Galvin, owner and managing broker of Luxury Living Chicago Realty, the exclusive leasing brokerage for Riverview Terrace. “The opening of River Terrace offers a unique opportunity to rent a brand new, upgraded apartment in a mid-rise building in the Avondale neighborhood, which has traditionally been dominated by three-story walk-ups.”
The 46 apartments include 38 two-bedroom units, 6 three-bedroom duplexes and two penthouse units with rooftop terraces. The building features one to one parking in the attached, private, heated garage.
Two bedroom units range from $1900-$2450 for 1040-1200 square feet. Three bedroom duplexes range from $3850-$4000 for 1925-2100 square feet. The penthouse units are $3500 and $4500 respectively.
Each apartment includes a washer/dryer in unit, oversized kitchens with granite countertops and stainless appliances, solid wood cabinetry, and hardwood throughout the unit. Nearly all units feature a private outdoor balcony or terrace. All units have individually controlled heating and cooling.
The property features a beautifully landscaped interior courtyard with a fountain. There is also a dog run planned for the future.
Riverview Terrace is close to Mariano’s Fresh Market and many restaurants. The building is not only conveniently located on several CTA bus routes but also directly between the Blue Line and Brown Line El stops. In addition, Riverview Terrace provides easy access to the Kennedy 90/94 Expressway. There are many nearby parks and schools including Washtenaw Park, Nelson Park, Lane Technical High School, Linne Elementary School, and Devry Advantage Academy.
Rent includes water, trash and one parking spot in the attached garage.
