A New Standard of Luxury Living at MILA
The amenities offered in modern downtown Chicago apartments in 2015 have become standardized. Luxury renters can not only expect state-of-the-art fitness centers and business centers but also shared spaces like movie theaters, infinity pools and spa services, outdoor kitchens and golf simulators.
However, as community-based amenities have become a given, new downtown Chicago apartment amenities will go beyond resident lounges and swimming pools. They will now extend into the apartments themselves- offering a new standard of luxury living.
For example, when MILA Chicago opens its doors in 2016, the property plans to offer residents 24-hour room service, concierge, and valet service. To learn more about this superior level of concierge services, we spoke with Betsy Traczek, Principal, Board Member and Director of Property Management for The John Buck Company.
“MILA will be partnering with a hotel in the area to provide hospitality level amenities to our residents. While we are not able to provide the name of our hotel partner yet, we are working on agreements that will allow us to provide 24 / 7 room service, valet service, and maid service to our residents,” Traczek said. “Additionally, the MILA property staff will include a full-time concierge who will be available to the residents to provide a wide arrange of services to make their lives easier, like travel, theater tickets, and dinner reservations, as well as creating unique, one-of-a-kind experiences for the tenants and their guests.”
Traczek continued, “As the residential market in Chicago continues to emerge, expand, and become more competitive, The John Buck Company believes that amenities need to go beyond the prerequisite, although important, fitness center and party room. Renters with incredibly hectic work and social lives are looking for additional services that are unique but that will also make their lives easier. We feel by offering hospitality-quality amenities such as 24/7 in-room dining, maid service, and an on-site concierge, MILA residents will have extraordinary services available to them that have not been offered before in Chicago.”
