New Chicago Apartments Update
As Chicago moves into spring, the leasing market kicks into high gear. The luxury apartment market will gain 3400 new units this year and some of the 2016 developments have already opened their doors. These new properties are in various stages of leasing, from pre-leasing for summer to residents already moved in.
Wolf Point West
This River North building started move-ins in mid-January and will be completely finished in April. At 343 Wolf Point Plaza, Wolf Point West offers truly impressive views of Chicago from the west bend of the river. Aside from the stunning views, the best feature of this full-amenity building may be their penthouse-level amenity floor, with a state-of-the-art fitness center, sky lounge, and rooftop terrace. Wolf Point West is currently offering a concession of one month free rent.
Marquee at Block37
Set along Chicago’s iconic State Street, Marquee at Block 37 sits between Randolph and Washington Street. This convenient location allows residents to visit a variety of stores and restaurants without even going outside. Highlights of Block37 include Latinicty, a dine-in AMC theater, and easy access to the L. These Loop apartments are currently pre-leasing from the third floor of Block 37; the showroom allows prospective residents to experience Marquee’s finishes, with two built-out kitchens and a bathroom.
Logan Square L
Starting tomorrow, Logan Square’s first major TOD will open its doors for pre-leasing. The popular neighborhood has a variety of multifamily developments in the pipeline and L is leading the way. At 2211 N. Milwaukee, L will offer residents high-end finishes and a variety of amenities and conveniences. The modern Logan Square apartments will feature keyless entry, a fitness center, Bike Kitchen, and outdoor sun deck with a retired train car lounge, grills, lounge seating, and usable green spaces for games and picnics.
Madison Throop Place
Phase I of leasing these brand-new West Loop apartments is almost complete, as 1249 W. Madison Street only has 9 units left. Madison Throop Place’s second phase of leasing will begin in April when 30 luxury apartments come to market for June 1st. The condo-quality apartments provide bamboo flooring throughout and a gourmet chef’s kitchen with quartz countertops, large farmhouse sinks, and Bosch appliances. Monthly rent in the boutique building includes a reserved parking spot in the heated garage.
