Our Checklist for Your First Apartment Tour

Touring apartment buildings in any city can be overwhelming, with different floor plan options in various buildings. When it’s time to compare all the numbers, it’s difficult to remember which property has a great utility package or where the move-in fee is being waived. Luxury Living Chicago Realty has created a checklist to use during or after your apartment tours, so you can keep track of pricing, features, and amenities all in one place.

The editable checklist can be filled in directly on your tablet or device or printed out and used by hand. There are columns for up to eight different properties, with two-floor plans each.

The checklist’s first section adds up all of the numbers, from parking rates to the pet rent/fees. To prioritize desired apartment finishes, the second section includes outdoor space, in-unit W/D, hardwood floors, and upgraded kitchen appliances. Building amenities and extras are listed in the third section, so you can remember which one is closest to work and which properties have a fitness center, pool, or dog run on-site.
