Developers’ new favorite neighborhood appears to be Chicago’s South Loop. In the last month, three separate land deals sold for a cumulative $40 million, which suggests that 2016 will be an excellent year for the South Loop. But until the downtown Chicago apartment market gains 6,400 new units in 2016, consider one of these amazing and available South Loop apartments.

AMLI 900

With a walkscore of 95, AMLI 900 was one of the South Loop’s first luxury apartment buildings. These South Loop apartments come in two finish packages- one with exposed cement ceilings and more of an urban, loft feel, and one with more standard designer finishes. The building has wi-fi throughout the building and also provides residents with: an internet cafe with coffee bar, conference room, state-of-the-art fitness center, rooftop resident lounge, on-site dry cleaner, and private park.

Burnham Pointe

Originally built as a condo building, Burnham Pointe provides residents with high-end finishes in the perfect South Loop location. The building has a sundeck, business center, resistance pool, whirlpool, fitness center, and resident lounge. These South Loop apartments have generous floor-plans, with tons of closet space, hardwood floors, granite and stainless steel kitchens, private balconies, and washer/dryer in unit.

Vesta Lofts

Loft living in a historic location, Vesta Lofts feature original brick and timber loft construction. Each unit features: state-of-the-art gourmet kitchen with stainless steel, dark wood cabinets, and quartz countertops. Residents enjoy the asthetic of soaring lofted ceilings, marble and tile baths, and hardwood-like flooring. The building also has an exercise room, rooftop deck with community grills, lounge chairs and tables.

AMLI Lofts

The South Loop’s new kid on the block,  AMLI Lofts, opened last summer and was fully completed in the fall. The building is overflowing with amenities; from two roofdecks to an outdoor sport court, AMLI Lofts has multiple spaces for residents to utilize outside their unit. Although, residents never need to leave these beautiful South Loop apartments, which come with: ten-foot ceilings, fully-equipped kitchens with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, wood flooring, in-unit washer/dryer, and stunning city views.
