The Best Neighborhoods for Chicago Foodies

All of Chicago’s neighborhoods have many treasures, but these three neighborhoods are some of our top picks when it comes to the ultimate food scenes.

West Loop

Home to Chicago’s famous “Restaurant Row”, West Loop is one of the top Chicago neighborhoods when it comes to its dining options.

Monteverde, the first restaurant from former Top Chef Sarah Grueneberg, is one of West Loop’s incredible Italian spots. Smyth + The Loyalist, just two blocks north of Randolph Street, is a two Michelin star-rated restaurant bringing the farm to the big city; offering some of the Windy City’s best burgers. In the mood for upscale Indian food? ROOH along Randolph Street in West Loop is another fantastic pick.

If you’re looking to be within walking distance to some of these top restaurants, consider living in one of these luxury West Loop apartments:

Lincoln Park

In between Chicago’s Old Town and Lakeview neighborhoods, Lincoln Park is another prime spot for Chicago foodies.

Situated right along Lincoln Ave, Galit is an upscale Middle Eastern restaurant with world-class hummus and an extensive wine menu. Pequod’s Pizza in Lincoln Park is a fan favorite for Chicago’s classic deep-dish pizza. If you’re on the hunt for something a little classier, try Alinea, at the intersection of Lincoln Park and Old Town. This three Michelin-starred restaurant is one of the world’s best restaurants, with all of their dishes presented like works of art.

Mi Tocaya Antojeria is known for their Mexican small plates with killer margaritas and is another highly-rated spot in Logan Square. If you’re in the mood for some craft brews, BiXi Beer along Milwaukee Ave is a modern brewpub with delicious bites and a rooftop patio.
